The deadline is fast approaching to snag tickets for PBS’s popular “Antiques Roadshow,” which will be in Knoxville Saturday, July 13, for an all-day appraisal.
Admission is free, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. The deadline to apply for tickets is
Monday, April 8.
Approximately 3,000 recipients will be selected at random from all eligible entries to receive two tickets to
the event.
Apply for tickets online at www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/tickets.html or send a
postcard, including the applicant’s full name and street address to: Knoxville Roadshow, Box 249, Canton, MA 02021.
Ticket holders will be invited to bring two items for a free verbal appraisal of value by “Antiques Roadshow” appraisers. The program will also film segments in and
around Knoxville, highlighting the city’s history and places of interest. Three episodes of “Antiques Roadshow” will be created for the series’ 18th season, set to air in 2014.
“Antiques Roadshow” airs locally 8 p.m. Mondays on East Tennessee PBS.
