DC Collectibles has released Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure, a blind-box vinyl figure line featuring your favorite DC Comics heroes and villains as they were depicted in the latest Scribblenauts video game. The set includes Vampire Batman, Bizarro, Black Manta, Wonder Woman, Superman, Maxwell, Batman, Aquaman, The Joker, Deadman, and Gold Superman.
Each figure comes with a stand modeled after Maxwell's magic notebook and has five points of articulation. There are different rarities for some of the figures, as detailed in the image below, so keep an eye out for that Gold Superman and Maxwell in a mystery costume.
Given how cute/awesome these things are and the $4.95 price point, collecting the whole set seems pretty doable. The figures are currently available on GameStop's website and will hit their stores as well as comic shops on February 5.
Seeing how these are being listed as “Series 1,” it’s probably safe to assume another batch of characters will be on its way.
Check out these closeups of the figures, where it looks like someone created a “Vampire Batman” and a “Gold Superman” in-game and has now been made a reality. Also in the gallery are some variant covers featuring the Scribblenaut-heroes imitating classic DC covers.
