NEWARK, Ohio - Licking County Crime Stoppers is
offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest after multiple storage units were broken into in Newark.
Between July 10 and 11, 24 storage lockers were broken into at Budget Mini Storage, located at 134 South
27th St. Among the items stolen were a .22 rifle and two crossbows.
The robberies come around a month after a large storage unit theft from One-Stop Storage at 1945 Coffman Road. Electronics, tools, jewelry, and hundreds of collectibles were taken from a unit between May 25 and June 5. Thieves got away with unopened Star Wars toys, baseball cards and Hot Wheels cars.
